Contact & Communication
Astronautica is still a one-person effort, so communication is simple right now: reach out directly and we’ll set up a conversation. As we grow, this page will document official channels, response times, and steward responsibilities.
Until then, the details below reflect goals rather than reality. Use them to imagine how future teams might communicate with members, partners, and media.
Current channels (manual for now)
These addresses and links are placeholders representing the communication lanes we intend to set up. Today, everything funnels to a single inbox handled by me.
Mission Inbox (planned)
For general inquiries and people curious about the cooperative.
hello@astronautica.org
Partnership Desk (planned)
For prospective collaborators, launch providers, and research allies.
alliances@astronautica.org
Media & Story (planned)
For press, speaking invitations, or storytelling opportunities.
press@astronautica.org
TODO: register these domains, configure routing, and publish a response SLA once additional stewards are on board.
Briefing requests (future workflow)
Eventually we want a structured way to handle requests for mission briefings, workshops, or custom sessions. The form below is a stub—submitted data stays local for now.
TODO: define steward rotation, create briefing decks, and set up scheduling automation.
Future community spaces
We want our knowledge sharing and coordination tools to be open whenever possible. Below are concepts for community channels we aim to launch later.
Member Forum
Asynchronous discussions, proposals, and documentation. Possibly on an open-source platform.
members.astronautica.org
Mission Brief Podcast
Regular audio/video updates covering work-in-progress and lessons learned.
podcast.astronautica.org
Telemetry Newsletter
Monthly digest summarizing research, milestones, and upcoming opportunities.
newsletter.astronautica.org
These channels do not exist yet. When we launch them, we’ll publish moderation policies and open licensing guidelines.
Actions & TODOs
-
•
Decide on primary communication stack (email, forum, chat) that aligns with cooperative values.
-
•
Draft response guidelines and escalation paths for safety or legal issues.
-
•
Establish data retention and privacy policies before collecting personal information.
-
•
Create a simple intake tracker so inquiries don’t get lost while operations are still manual.
Until these tasks are complete, email remains the best way to reach the project: hello@astronautica.org (coming soon). For now, reach me directly via the usual personal channels.
